A SW Ugly Tour Event - sponsored by West Country Boat Repairs and Rodda's
Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th June 2023
Restronguet Sailing Club invite sailors to the Rodda's RS 200 Cornish National Championships on the 24th and 25th June 2023. This is the Cornish stop on the 2023 RS200 SW Ugly Tour and the only two day event on the tour. Restronguet Sailing Club has a great spot overlooking the Carrick Roads, with the racing area only a few minutes sail away and handy camping just behind the club.
We have a great Youth RS200 section at Restronguet and would like to encourage young sailors to come and take part in the Cornish Nationals.
There are 4 races planned for Saturday afternoon in the Carrick Roads near to Restronguet Sailing Club. After racing come back to the club for a cream tea with Rodda's clotted cream (eaten Cornish style, Jam First!), then a cold beverage and a chilli on Saturday. There will be a couple more races on the Sunday morning and early afternoon. Then time for a pasty, piece of cake and a cup of tea from the club cafe before heading home.
Come and join the growing 200 fleet in Cornwall for two days of racing for bragging rights and the title of "Cornish Open Champions". Prizes for under 18s.
5th - 12th August
The Port of Falmouth Sailing Association (PoFSA) Falmouth Sailing Week Committee has decided that Falmouth Sailing Week will take place on 5th-12th August and that there will be racing for DINGHIES and CATAMARANS.
Restronguet Sailing Club invite sailors to the 2023 Musto Skiff UK National Championships from 21st - 24th September 2023. Four days of racing out on the open sea in Falmouth Bay or in the more sheltered waters of the Carrick Roads depending on the weather. We are a family, volunteer run club, with a history of running large events. There is camping at Coastland just behind the club (just make sure you book early). More details will be available early in 2023.
